post title says it all really, but I just thought we should have something branded for the presentation and blog.

Hi everyone

We decided that we are going to meet at 9:30 before our presentation. Please come to computer room on the first floor of JL (It is the same room where we used last time) tomorrow (on 3rd Oct.)
Today Mariko, Chao-Han, Hsien-Ying, Jackie and I discussed our presentation and made our powerpoint. I attached the powerpoint on our blog.

Idea for a logo

Hi guys sorry I haven't been in touch sooner was working Thursday and Friday and was then away for the weekend with no e-mail. Here is the idea I was thinking of that incorporates the existing UCCA logo whilst also making it site specific. I'm guessing it could in theory be used for the other colleges to, graphic design was never something I really got into so as you can see it's relatively simplistic in nature I'm sure Hsien-Ying and Mariko could make it look a lot more professional if we decided we want to run with something like this. Unfortunately the 'F' of Farnham is placed directly in what I have heard referred to as the plan view of a toilet.

But yeah let me know what you think, Carol especially as, if I remember correctly, you won't be able to make it to tomorrows meeting. Unfortunately I'm not sure how long I'll be able to spend with the group tomorrow either as I have my first course specific meeting tomorrow which looks as if it's going to run for most, if not all of the day.

As for what medium we'd like to present the logo on I have to say that I personally don't think that it matters all that much. But as we're going to be presenting to a room full of people then something bigger rather than smaller would be better. Maybe a poster or a banner of some kind? Although if we can present using PowerPoint then maybe we could just take a screen-grab of the Farnham website and doctor it to have our logo instead of theirs. Anyway hopefully see you tomorrow.

colour makes it seem insignificant

doesn't relate to Farnham

About our researches of logos

Hello Everyone,
Hsuan, Chao-Han , Hsien-Ying and I did some researches regarding school logos today.
We collected logos of "University of London" and "University of the Arts London" from the school's websites. Those university have several colleges as UCCA has. We also collected other art and design school's logos as a reference. We think it might be a good idea to see what are different from our school logo and think about a new logo for UCCA at Farnham.
After we collected, we found our former school logos. we will post all information tonight or tomorrow. We also made powerpoint slides as a visual aid for our presentation.
It seems that each college in university has an original colour for logo and put a university name with a college name. In addition, each college in University of London has totally different style.
